About

iWritten by WhatSchool from official school data (Get Information about Schools, DfE and Ofsted).

As the Headteacher at The Hereford Church of England Academy, I am excited at the potential within this school. It has a uniquely caring and Christian identity as well as a clear wish to serve the local community that is evident in its pastoral as well as academic care.

We believe that the students should be at the centre of everything that we do and that our core purpose is to raise their aspirations and ensure that all our students have the best educational experience possible, which provides them with the outcomes they need to progress in the direction of their choosing.

We are determined to give our students a school and an education which they deserve and can be proud of, and will continue to improve until we reach our aim of becoming an outstanding school. Our students, your son(s)/daughter(s), only get one main chance of an education, one main chance to flourish and prepare for adult life.

We strive to give our students the very best because it is what every child deserves. At THA the culture is that we care about our school, we respect others and we do our best and we expect our students to: Our students are smart, purposeful and courteous. They work with commitment in all aspects of school life.

Governing body (9 current, 1 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

3 governors are linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
