About

Our vision is that we enable every child to shine bright their light. This is a key message from Matthew 5:14-16. It combines the message of, You are the light of the world and let your light shine. We are clear about our mission -lighting up lives so that they may share the light. Jesus calls us to be like a candle held in God's hands, bringing light to His world.

Love represents the flame, unity is represented by the wick and perseverance the wax which together provide the light to follow our vision. During the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus addressed a crowd and revealed eight blessings (known as the Beatitudes) and said, You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid.

No one, after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

Governing body (5 current, 1 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

1 governor is linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
