About

About us Welcome to Esland Bedford School at Esland Bedford School, we provide an inspirational learning environment where students are supported and encouraged to actively participate in learning opportunities.

We offer high-quality education to 8 to 18 year-olds with a range of needs, including Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH).

We have our own unique identity, ethos, and approach to our curriculum, and we use the Turning the Curve education model to support students who, depending on their background and circumstances, may be at different stages in their education.

We understand every student has been on a unique journey that's led them to join our school, which is why we work hard to cultivate a warm, welcoming, and supportive culture that recognises and celebrates their achievements. Our aim is to help students gain a range of academic qualifications and social skills that will stay with them throughout their adult life.
