About

Welcome to Bassingbourn Village College, a secondary school nestled between Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. With over 660 students from ages 11-16 years old, we are very proud to provide our local community with a comprehensive education for all.

Our dedicated staff are committed in supporting our students to unlock their full potential and achieve high academic outcomes through a wide range of opportunities, both in, and out of the classroom.

Our personalised curriculum offers breadth and depth, with a strong core in both English and Maths, an impressive language provision which includes Latin, as well as a commitment to widen our Arts department.

Our teachers work hard to nurture our students to have high aspirations for themselves, a love for learning and to become confident, resilient, healthy and independent members of society.
