It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Goresbrook School's sixth form prospectus. Goresbrook Secondary School opened in September 2016 to provide an exceptional education for students in Barking and Dagenham. We started with a cohort of enthusiastic and industrious year 7 students, who are currently our founding year 12 cohort.
We aim to be one of the best sixth form provisions in the country, ensuring that all young people leave us with the real option to succeed at the very best universities. At the core of our offer is an academic A level curriculum, designed to equip students to meet the challenges of university and life as successful adults.
Alongside our academic offer is an extensive enrichment provision, catering to the diverse interests, ambitions and talents of our students. Goresbrook Sixth Form students benefit from a dedicated, new sixth form building that opened this September. I am extremely excited to grow our sixth form over the coming years, and to meet you and your family.
