About

Our aim is to bring the best out of every pupil that attends Ely St Mary's to provide opportunities for all children, of all faiths and none, to be the best that they can be, in an environment where everyone is valued, respected and challenged.

Our school is a place where individuals are supported in their personal journey of learning, growth and development, within an ethos of nurture, encouragement and love. Hebrews 10:24 Let us think about each other and help each other to show love and do good deeds. Values and ethos.

As a Church of England school, we have adopted the ethos statement as follows: Recognising its historic foundation, the school will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the Churches at parish and diocesan level.

The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality for all faiths and none.

Governing body (6 current, 9 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

1 governor is linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
