Our school Our school vision "An enriching journey to individual success. George Hastwell School is a safe and creative learning community where everyone achieves and is valued." GHS values at GHS, we want our pupils to reach their full potential.
This includes supporting them to develop into positive members of our community and create an awareness of how to value themselves and value others. In order to achieve this, we have developed a values-based ethos. Britain is diverse in cultures, beliefs and ethnic backgrounds. We want our pupils to understand this and develop a greater level of respect for everyone they meet.
We strive for our pupils to appreciate that difference and diversity can be a positive thing, and to respect and protect that belief. Our Values based Education creates in our pupils an awareness of how to Value themselves and Value others.
