About

A very warm welcome to St James CE Primary School! Our school vision, Through Him, all things are possible , is at the heart of everything we do. It inspires us to believe in every child, to help them discover their unique gifts and to support them in reaching their full potential. We are incredibly proud of our school family.

Children here are happy, curious and full of energy they love to learn, explore and challenge themselves. Our staff are dedicated and caring, always going the extra mile to make sure that every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to shine. We believe learning should be exciting and inspiring.

From engaging lessons to creative opportunities, trips, and celebrations, our school is a place where memories are made and futures are shaped. Just as importantly, we nurture kindness, respect and friendship so that our children grow into confident, compassionate young people.

Choosing the right school for your child is such an important decision, and I hope that as you look through our website you will get a real sense of the warmth and joy that fills our classrooms and playgrounds every day.

Governing body (7 current, 0 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

1 governor is linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
