About

You are here: Home Our School Executive Heads Welcome It is an absolute privilege to welcome you to Oakworth Primary School as Executive Headteacher. Oakworth is a school with a strong identity, built upon its core values of Ready, Respectful and Safe .

These principles are more than words; they shape daily life in school, guiding children to become confident, responsible and compassionate individuals. The motto, Together We Learn, Together We Grow, beautifully captures the spirit of collaboration and belonging that defines the Oakworth community.

Having previously served as Headteacher here, Oakworth holds a very special place in my heart. I am incredibly proud of the nurturing ethos, high expectations and ambitious curriculum that enable every child to flourish both academically and personally. Outdoor learning remains a distinctive strength of the school.

From exploring the local moorland to developing resilience through forest school and hands-on experiences within our grounds, children are given rich opportunities to develop curiosity, independence and a love of the natural world.
