About

As the Proprietors of Newbury Independent School, we believe that education is a fundamental vehicle for young people from all background and social status to achieve and become effective Citizens.

We embrace British and Christian Values and are committed to being relational, always actively seeking for ways to work with Parents, Guardians and Corporate Parents, involving Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Police Community Support Officers (PSCOs), Social Care and other professionals.

Our motto is that, even with challenging behaviours, every child can be educated. An African proverbs states that It takes a whole village to raise a child. Our school was formally opened by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Cllr Yvonne Mosquito, on the 20th December 2018. We want to work together with you in educating our children.

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world Nelson Mandela
