I am delighted to welcome you to Dr South's School website and to present this brief introduction to our school. Dr South's is a small, friendly and close-knit village school with high levels of pastoral care and individual attention. The school roll numbers about a hundred children.
Many pupils are from our catchment villages of Islip, Noke and Woodeaton, although we welcome some from further afield when space permits. Many of these families choose us because the quality of relationships between all members of the school community resembles that of a loving family, something we can achieve in a school of this size.
Nurtured here, children feel valued and form strong, lasting friendships. "Pupils are very happy at school. Warm and trusting relationships underpin their enjoyment of learning." (Ofsted report)
