Welcome to St John's website where you will get an insight of what our school is like. Take an online tour of the school and then come and see us in person! St John's is a happy, hardworking and successful school community where Together We Grow Stronger .
Our aim is to create a positive learning environment where the children are at the heart of everything we do, with a strong Christian ethos and the highest expectations of behaviour and attainment. We offer a 'village school' atmosphere, with all the benefits of the town's facilities.
Our Christian values of LOVE , HOPE and TRUST lie at the heart of our school life as we nurture the potential of every child. We create a sense of togetherness whilst providing children with individual attention and we work in partnership with you, the child's family, to ensure that every child thrives. Our school has a warm, friendly, family-feel that we all value.
We know our children extremely well and treat them with respect. Children do very well here and are appropriately supported and challenged, through high quality teaching, so that they can make good progress.

Governing body (6 current, 3 former)
iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.1 governor is linked to a profile (all confirmed).
Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
