Welcome to Wembdon St George's Church School The children at Wembdon are our greatest asset. Together with our actively engaged parents, loving community and a team of staff, who put children at the centre of all that we do; this creates a happy, safe, and positive school environment that enables the children to Shine and be the best that they can be!
We are situated in the village of Wembdon which borders Bridgwater, a rapidly expanding and developing town. We cater for children aged 4-11 years and have classes from the Reception year to Year 6, some are mixed year group classes. Our school community is increasingly diverse with just under 20% of our children speaking English as an additional language.
We embrace individuality and promote this through celebrating culture, heritage, identity, and difference.
