We hope our website offers you a glimpse into our vibrant and thriving school community. Houghton School is a Church of England primary school for boys and girls aged 4-11, nestled in the picturesque village of Houghton on the Hill, surrounded by the beautiful Leicestershire countryside.
We are fortunate to have strong ties with St Catharine's Church, and our Christian ethos plays a meaningful role in school life. However, we warmly welcome families of all faiths and backgrounds, embracing inclusivity and respect at the heart of our community.
As an integral part of the local area, we are dedicated to nurturing values of respect, honesty, cooperation, and responsibility in all our pupils. Our curriculum places great emphasis on developing key skills in reading, writing, and numeracy, while also fostering creativity and personal growth.
We strive to ensure every child flourishes academically, spiritually, and emotionally. We would be delighted to welcome you for a visit and share more about our wonderful school. To arrange an appointment, please contact the School Office.
