Astrea Academy Woodfields is an 11-18 non-selective, non-denominational secondary school in Doncaster. We have 750 scholars on roll here, from Year 7 to Year 11. Our vision is: To provide an exceptional, knowledge rich educational experience to ensure all students succeed.
We are part of Astrea Academy Trust, a family of primary and secondary academies in Cambridgeshire and South Yorkshire. The trust is committed to making sure that every child gets a brilliant education. Astrea aims to make sure that children learn, thrive and lead successful lives.
Being a part of this successful and ambitious trust means that our scholars, and colleagues alike, benefit from a rich partnership of opportunities. Astrea Academy Woodfields is fully committed to an inclusive, comprehensive curriculum for all. Everything we do here is underpinned by our three core values: scholarship, curiosity and tenacity.
We are very proud to be rated as a "Good" school by Ofsted. Following our latest inspection, in May 2024, inspectors praised our "incessant focus" on improving the quality of education that scholars receive.
