About

Verwood Church of England First School and Nursery Welcome to Verwood Church of England First School and Nursery on behalf of our children, staff and Local School Committee, I am delighted to welcome you to our amazing school!

As a Church of England First School, our vision is based on the Biblical message that Jesus is the light of the world and we are called to share that light (Matthew 5:14). We describe hope as having confidence in Gods promises, knowing that he will never let us down (Hebrews 10:23).

This means that we all aspire to shine our own light in everything we do - at school, in our local community and within the wider world. We are truly proud of all we achieve, making the most of every learning opportunity and helping each other along the way.
