About

I would like to offer you a warm welcome to Banks School and to our Cascade family We are looking forward to your young person joining our school. Our committed and determined staff are what enables our young people to succeed through a varied person-centered curriculum, providing them with the skills they need to be as independent as possible.

We focus on doing simple things to a high standard, maximising the time in which our pupils are exposed to learning, in smaller chunks, immersed in the environment that they are in. Our mission is simple: My Voice. My Choice. My Lifelong Learning. We create a nurturing and empowering space, which enables our pupils to flourish in their communication and outdoor learning.

Through a person-centered carefully crafted curriculum, each young person's unique abilities are celebrated and their individual needs are met with understanding and compassion, so that they can thrive. The school aims to do this alongside The Cascade ethos and values.

We are privileged to be working with your child and I look forward to sharing your child's learning journey with you.
