About

Our school is devoted to serving our community and enabling the children within our care to thrive in life, ensuring their own success and happiness and that of those around them. Everything we do at Moorhouse Academy is an expression of our core ethos, LEARN: LEARN represents the qualities that we seek to develop and instil within our learners and to prepare them for life.

It was developed in partnership with the children and is embedded within the curriculum to promote a love of learning. We want to support the children to be the best that they can be and to value and respect the community in which they live.

Ask any child or adult in our school about LEARN and they will tell you how much it means to us and how well it guides everyone within our community to be the best we can be.

We are a friendly and welcoming school with high standards and energy and as part of the Watergrove Trust family of schools we are very well resourced and supported, providing a great environment for learning and growth. Come and see how much we have evolved as a school! You wont be disappointed.

Governing body (7 current, 1 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

1 governor is linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
