I am delighted to welcome you to the website of Leicester's newest secondary school, Brook Mead Academy, which opened its doors to its founding cohort in late August 2021. Since then, we have been judged to be OUTSTANDING in all categories by Ofsted in our first inspection in March 2024.
As well as that, our attendance puts us in the top 10 for schools in Leicester and Leicestershire and in the top 25% of schools nationally, showing our scholars feel safe and able to thrive in the climate we have created.

Governing body (11 current, 1 former)
iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.1 governor is linked to a profile (all confirmed).
Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
