Headteacher's Welcome Welcome to Hockliffe Lower School on behalf of our children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Hockliffe Lower School. Our school is special and unique. Getting to know all of our children and their families individually is definitely at the forefront of the work of our dedicated team at Hockliffe.
We are a child centred school, which offers a warm and friendly environment for all. Hockliffe Lower School is a small, friendly village school, set in the attractive Bedfordshire countryside. The beauty of the school grounds provides a wide range of outdoor areas, which are a source of inspiration for our children's learning.
We have a trained Forest School teacher, so that all of our children have the opportunity each year to extend their learning in a dedicated outdoor space. All members of Hockliffe's school community demonstrate life's positive values and promote a caring family ethos in the school.
They work together to establish a happy, safe and stimulating learning environment, in which pupils can grow and develop as confident individuals and respectful members of the global society.
