About

Christchurch Infant School aims to be a hub for the community. Our aim is to foster a lifelong love for learning by creating a dynamic and engaging curriculum that encourages curiosity, independence, and joy in discovery. By supporting the whole child, we empower them to build resilience, confidence and empathy; preparing them for a rapidly changing world.

Our vision includes instilling a love and respect for the world around us, promoting sustainable practices, and helping children understand their role in protecting the planet for future generations. We expect children, staff, parents and the community to share our school values: We aspire for excellence as we pursue our dreams with the determination to succeed.

To be the best that we can be! At our school, we care about others, help our community, and be good leaders. We make a difference and grow into kind, responsible people. We are brave, we try new things, and speak up for ourselves and others, even when it feels hard or scary. We keep going, believe in ourselves, and grow stronger with each challenge.
