About

A very warm welcome to St Mary's Wavendon Church of England School. Our school is a vibrant and nurturing community where every child is valued, supported, and inspired to flourish. Rooted in Christian values, our ethos is built upon love, respect, and compassion.

These principles guide our daily interactions and underpin our commitment to providing a holistic education that nurtures both academic excellence and personal growth. At the heart of our school is our shared vision: "This is our school. With God's help we care for one another, are curious in our learning, and know we are all loved."

This is beautifully reflected in our core values of Love, Thankfulness, Peace, Perseverance and Hope, Friendship, Forgiveness, and Trust —values that are not only taught, but lived throughout our school community.

Our guiding scripture, taken from Luke 10:27, reminds us daily: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbour as yourself." These words are central to who we are, shaping our culture and inspiring our motto: Love, Learn, Grow .
