Welcome to Aberford C of Primary School. We are a small village primary school, situated in the picturesque village of Aberford on the Eastern outskirts of Leeds. Our school is tucked away behind St Ricarius church towards the top of School Lane.
Most of our families walk to school and, as we don't have parking spaces for parents outside school (unless you have a disabled badge), visitors usually park on the main road. We also have bike racks in school so that the children can cycle to school or come on their scooters. The building dates back to 1716 when it was a tithe barn.
In 1817 we were established as a national school. As a result, the school buildings are interesting and full of character.

Governing body (8 current, 1 former)
iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.1 governor is linked to a profile (all confirmed).
Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
