About

I am delighted to welcome you to Kibworth Mead Academy, part of The Mead Educational Trust (TMET). As the Principal of Kibworth Mead, my vision is that our school is a place where everyone feels welcome, and everyone succeeds.

Our school is a place where all students receive the opportunities to be successful, confident and responsible young people equipped with academic qualifications as well as the personal and social skills to enable them to make a positive difference to their community and the wider world.

To achieve our goals we have three core values: We take pride in our challenging and well-designed curriculum which seeks to give all our students access to a broad, rich and deep education. The EBacc suite of subjects (English, maths, science, a modern foreign language, history / geography) take centre stage in the curriculum enhanced by a wider offer in the arts and sports.

This is complemented by the curriculum provision, both inside and outside the classroom, aimed at the wider development of our students.
