I am very proud to welcome you to St Winefride's Catholic Academy. We are all very proud of our school and all we do. Our children love learning and strive to do their very best with Christ at the Centre of all we do. 'Winnies' role is to provide an environment for your child that is happy, caring and safe throughout the time that they spend here.
From this foundation, we strive to stretch and challenge each child to enable them to achieve and fulfil their potential. This is not just academically but, also, morally and socially. We have very high expectations of all children in their learning, presentation, behaviour, attitude, politeness and manners.
At 'Winnies' we create the conditions for learning to take place but also for our children to grow in confidence and develop respect and tolerance of others and their opinions; where mistakes are used as a learning experience and where injustice and adversity are challenged! All my staff are caring, devoted and professional.
They work effectively to provide the best possible learning experience for the children of St Winefrides.

Governing body (7 current, 2 former)
iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.1 governor is linked to a profile (all confirmed).
Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
