About

About Springwell Alternative Academy Grantham Nurturing Potential, Inspiring Futures Welcome to Springwell Grantham, a specialist academy dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing learning environment for children and young people aged 4-16. We are a proud member of the Springwell Learning Community Lincolnshire and the wider Wellspring Academy Trust.

At Springwell Grantham, we believe in the power of second chances. Our core mission is to offer a high-quality, bespoke education for students who have, for various reasons, found it challenging to thrive in a mainstream school setting.

We are a school built on the principles of trauma-informed practice, unconditional positive regard, and a pervasive culture of nurture and support. Our dedicated and highly-trained staff are committed to understanding the individual needs of every student.

We provide a safe, calm, and welcoming atmosphere where young people can overcome barriers to learning, build their confidence, and achieve their full potential, both academically and personally. We were delighted to be rated Good in our most recent Ofsted inspection , a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire school community.
