About

It is an honour and a privilege to be able to welcome you to our school. Woodhey High School is an exceptional place to learn and work. We are incredibly proud of both our students and our team of staff, who work together to create exceptional opportunities, build strong relationships and support each other to achieve very well.

We are delighted to be a school that consistently performs above the national average in all metrics, whether this be student attainment, attendance, or progression onto appropriate destinations when students leave us, and that we have been recognised for this exceptional work by Ofsted, being graded as Outstanding for Personal Development and Behaviour and Attitudes (2025).

Everything we do at Woodhey is underpinned by our two core values: Respect and Excellence. We believe in the importance of respect for all, regardless of background, and the belief and willingness to strive for excellence to ensure everyone can achieve their very best.

We want our students to be able to compete with the elite from across the country and be fully prepared for life after school.
