About

About Us I hope you will find this website both helpful and informative. It is designed to be no more than a brief introduction to Stocksbridge Junior School and as such it cannot do justice to the rich variety of educational activity in our school.

Stocksbridge Junior School is a vibrant, forward looking and confident junior school which aims to create a secure caring working atmosphere in which your child can be educated to their full potential. We consider these years the most significant in your child's development. We believe the strength of our school is the partnership with parents and the wider community.

We feel that it is very important for home and school to work together closely and for trust and confidence to exist between parent and teacher. Please join in the many activities to which you will be invited as well as encouraging your child at home.
