About

A warm Welcome to Forefield Community Infant and Nursery School of Forefield Community Infant & Nursery School. Forefield is a highly regarded and thus very popular, three form entry infant school with an equally popular and over-subscribed 54 place Nursery. At the end of Y2, the vast majority of our pupils transfer to our close neighbours, Forefield Junior School.

Our aim at Forefield is to enable all children to achieve their full potential in all aspects of school life. This is central to all that we do and we seek to fulfil this through the highest quality teaching and learning opportunities, planned through a broad, balanced and appropriate curriculum, in a stimulating and engaging learning environment.

We aim to encourage intellectual growth through the range of learning experiences that we offer, developing self-confidence, self-worth and the resilience necessary for great learning. We pride ourselves on our welcoming, caring ethos – an extension to the care and security that comes from family life, which we feel is fundamental to ensuring all of our pupils flourish.

It is important to us that we support our young children's well-being and give opportunities for them to thrive personally, socially and emotionally as well as academically.

Governing body (10 current, 2 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

1 governor is linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
