It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself as the Headteacher for the Salesian Academy of St John Bosco. It is important to me that we work in partnership with all our community to ensure the pupils here thrive and flourish in all areas of life.
I was educated within this area, attending St James Primary School (now called All Saints) and St Augustine's High School, both in Bootle where I was born and raised. My previous role was as a Deputy Headteacher in Kirkby where I helped to lead the school from an Ofsted Inadequate to a Good judgement in 2021.
I know that my experience to date, working alongside the existing committed and hardworking staff and the new staff recruited over the past year, will ensure that we continue our improvement work to secure the highest of standards in learning and learner outcomes.
